Oh my, what a week. Yesterday was our Smudge’s 18th birthday and her high school graduation and the celebrating was in full force—and still going!
Naturally, we had to have cake and eat it too. That’s when I turned to one of my favorite bakers and her cookbook aka my baking bible for the most amazing yellow cake birthday cake with the most perfect chocolate buttercream frosting topped with my favorite baubles and sprinkles. Sidenote: Go for sparklers instead of candles for a real shebang!
Because we are still in celebrating mode, today’s list is shorter than norm but that’s okay. What is here I know you’ll find delicious!
