Hello and happy Friday!
We are relishing these last days of summer nights, but hot damn it’s still so hot out there! So that means just one thing: Our grill is in overdrive. We had my parents over for dinner and took full advantage of the coals and summer’s bounty with a favorite grilled steak topped with a tomato salad and herbacious chimichurri sauce, the sweetest grilled corn, my Horiatiki Greek salad I shared earlier this week, and my mom’s famous pasta salad. Oh! And my fave peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, natch. Summer is good.
Back to school is in full swing for most of you, but not me. My baby’s gap year has us deferring her first year of school but that doesn’t mean I’m not feeling all your feels.
