Hello hello and happy Friday.

Well, well, well, look who finally decided to show up—the weekend! Oh sweet weekend, you’re like a beacon of hope shining on the horizon. It’s like we’ve been trudging through the desert all week, and you’re the oasis we’ve been dreaming of. What are those plans, you ask? Does it matter? It’s about to be a beautiful spring weekend and we.are.in. Maybe we’ll hit up a rooftop bar and sip on some cocktails while taking in the view. Or maybe we’ll just veg out on the couch and binge-watch some Netflix. It’s all about balance, people.
And let’s not forget about the best part of the weekend—eating it all up. I’ve already been practicing. Last night we lit the grill to cook our standard “what to cook when we don’t know what to cook dinner” of our favorite grilled salmon with tasty tartar sauce, broccoli and mushrooms, and burrata, tomato, and avocado salad. We zhughed up the salmon with a sprinkling of blackened seasoning because if you know us, you know we’re spicy.
So, here’s to you, weekend. You may only last two precious days, but you give us hope and motivation to make it through the rest of the week. Let’s make the most of our time together, shall we?
But first, let’s dig into this week’s Friday Faves.
